Most lists of crypto guest posting sites are either two years out of date, paywalled behind a lead form, or written by someone who has never actually published on any of them.
This one is different. It covers sites that are actively accepting submissions or paid placements in 2026, sorted by what kind of publisher or project you are and what you’re actually trying to accomplish.
If you’re building backlinks for a new token launch, you need different sites than if you’re an SEO trying to move a blockchain analytics platform up three positions in search. Both use cases are covered below.
What to Look for Before You Submit
Domain Rating (DR) is the most useful single metric. A DR 70+ placement on a real crypto publication moves the needle. A DR 20 placement on a site that publishes anything for $30 does not.
Beyond DR, check three things: Is the site indexed in Google News? Does it have real editorial standards or will it publish any text sent to it? And does the backlink stay dofollow permanently, or does it get nofollowed after 30 days?
Those three questions filter out roughly 80% of the sites you’ll find on other lists.
Tier 1 — High Authority, Editorial Standards Required
These are the publications with real audiences and real editorial gatekeeping. You don’t pay to get in. You pitch a strong story and hope they say yes. Backlinks from these sites are worth more than anything money can buy.
CoinDesk — DR 91. The closest thing crypto has to a newspaper of record. They accept contributor pieces from people with genuine expertise and verifiable credentials. No press releases. No token promotions. If you have a strong opinion piece on regulation, macro, or institutional adoption, this is where it lands if you can get it placed.
CryptoSlate — DR 78. Active guest post section. Focuses on opinion and thought leadership from people inside the industry. CEO-level bylines get through. Generic content does not.
Bitcoinist — DR 73. Has a write-for-us section. Bitcoin-focused. They want well-researched takes on Bitcoin adoption, technology, and market dynamics. Worth attempting if your content is genuinely Bitcoin-native.
Coinpedia — DR 68. More accessible than the top tier. Accepts guest posts on blockchain, DeFi, and token topics. Response times are slower but the publication is indexed and legitimate.
NewsBTC — DR 67. Similar profile to Coinpedia. Takes a broad view of the crypto market and covers altcoins alongside Bitcoin. Submit via their contact page.
Tier 2 — Google News Approved, Paid Placements
These sites are approved by Google News, which means placement here is worth more than a random crypto blog regardless of DR. Google News approval is not easy to get and signals editorial credibility to the algorithm.
Chainwire — Crypto-native press release distribution service. Not a guest post site, but worth knowing. They distribute to dozens of crypto publications simultaneously. Useful for token launches that need coverage fast.
Tier 3 — Marketplaces (Buy Direct From Publishers)
These platforms let you browse crypto publishers by DR, traffic, and price, then buy placements directly without cold outreach.
Collaborator.pro — The largest crypto-focused guest post marketplace. Over 11,000 sites in catalog, strong crypto category. Transparent pricing, real DR metrics, payment held in escrow until delivery. Best starting point for buyers.
PRNEWS.IO — 65,000+ site catalog. Strong crypto category. Good for projects that want volume across multiple sites simultaneously. Pricing varies widely by site DR.
GuestPostNow — Smaller catalog than Collaborator but growing. 75% payout to publishers, 25% platform cut. Straightforward to use.
Serpzilla — Russian-founded but operates globally. Strong inventory of crypto and finance sites. Good for finding mid-DR placements at lower prices.
LinkMetrics — Positions itself as a manually vetted catalog. Smaller but claims higher quality control than the big marketplaces.
Tier 4 — Free Publishing Platforms (Syndication Value Only)
These platforms have high DR but the links are mostly nofollow or carry limited SEO weight. They’re worth using for traffic and distribution, not primarily for backlinks.
Medium — DR 95. Nofollow links. Republish with canonical tag pointing back to your original. Useful for reach.
Publish0x — DR 60. Crypto-native blogging platform. Writers earn crypto tips. Audience is real and engaged. No SEO value but good distribution.
Substack — DR 90. Same as Medium. Republish with canonical. Good newsletter audience crossover.
Hackernoon — DR 78. Tech-forward crypto audience. Accepts submissions, has editorial review. Dofollow backlinks in some configurations.
Vocal.media — DR 68. Open publishing. Nofollow. Distribution value only.
Who Should Use Which Tier
New token launch: Tier 2 (Google News placement for credibility) + Tier 3 marketplace for volume. Budget $200-500 for initial coverage.
Blockchain startup building SEO: Tier 1 for authority backlinks, Tier 3 for scale. Tier 1 takes time and pitching. Tier 3 is faster and predictable.
Crypto blogger building personal brand: Tier 1 is the goal. Start with Tier 4 to build a portfolio, use that portfolio to pitch Tier 1.
PR agency managing multiple clients: Tier 3 marketplaces. Collaborator.pro and PRNEWS.IO are built for volume buyers.
The One Thing Most Lists Get Wrong
They treat all crypto sites as interchangeable. A DR 40 site that publishes five paid posts a day, has no real readers, and recycles the same content as 200 other sites in its network does not help you. Google has gotten better at identifying link farms, and a backlink from one can do more harm than nothing.
Check the site’s Google Search Console presence before you buy. If the site’s own articles don’t rank for anything, your backlink from it isn’t going to either.
The sites on the Tier 1 and Tier 2 lists above have real editorial standards because they have real readers. That’s the combination that still works in 2026.
